The height is standard at 80″, but there is no standard width. For double hinged doors, they will commonly be 60″ (2 x 30″), 64″ (2 x 32″), and 72″ (2 x 36″). For single leaf aluminium hinged door, they will commonly be 36”. Other sizes can be customized too.
What is the rough opening for a double door?
Framing rough opening sizes are really quite simple. Just add 2” to the width of the actual door size. You should add 2-1/2” to the height of the actual door. This will give you room to space the door frame off of the sub-floor.
