Our Aluminium hinged doors can be either inward or outward opening. You can also specify them as right or left hinges or as a double opening French doors.
Our profile systems are available to to make the aluminium hinged doors of a maximum size of 3m tall and 1.2m wide per door leaf. Larger sizes may be available on request.

How wide is a standard Aluminium hinged door?
The height is standard at 80″, but there is no standard width. For double hinged doors, they will commonly be 60″ (2 x 30″), 64″ (2 x 32″), and 72″ (2 x 36″). For single leaf aluminium hinged door, they will commonly be 36”. Other sizes can be customized too.
What is the rough opening for a double door?
Framing rough opening sizes are really quite simple. Just add 2” to the width of the actual door size. You should add 2-1/2” to the height of the actual door. This will give you room to space the door frame off of the sub-floor.
What is a Low aluminum hinged Door Threshold?
A hinged door with a low threshold gives you flush levels between adjoining floor areas. This can be used for internal hinged doors which are installed as room dividers or placed between your house and conservatory. A standard threshold is recommended for external hinged doors to allow a weather seal to be created.
